Incredible HP’S Spectre X360 The Best 2 IN 1 Laptop. You Can Buy It Now
I used a lot of laptops last year, and some of them are really good. MacBooks has cemented the look and feel of "premium" for years, and I will never waste the opportunity to dive into the build quality of Dell's XPS lineup.
But I’ve never touched an impressive consumer laptop like the Spectre x360. The strong black body of the Spectre, the bright accents, and the sharp edges boldly make it stand out among the changing laptops on the board, even if it doesn’t have a slew of other great features - i.e., from its 3 screen: 2 and a combined feather to its star performance and battery life, it does perfectly.
With an initial MSRP for $ 1,299.99 ($ 1,589.99 as checked) Spectre x360 is my new favorite 2-in-1 laptop. Today's market is full of variables that are capable of looking good, working well, and doing certain things very well. But while the Spectre x360 15is not a complete laptop, it picks up the package in almost all areas. Stylish chassis, premium panel options, stylus support, powerful processor, and good battery in one. It is proof that you can have it all - at a price.

The HP Spectre line is second to none in terms of design, and this latest model is no different. Like its 13-inch predecessor, the Spectre x360 15 is made of mechanical CNC. And like their siblings, you can find 14 in "dark night," "Poseidon blue," or "natural silver." Look at the other pictures before choosing your color because each one has very different vibes. The dark night option has a sophisticated aesthetic, which looks like it was designed for a board room. The blue Poseidon is friendly and probably the one I would go for.
Accents, however, are what make Specter stand out from the armies of other black laptops out there. Bright color cuts across the lid, touchpad, and desk. Hinges share their color, as does the HP logo on its lid. He is courageous and strong. The two rear corners are diamond-shaped, and one of them has a Thunderbolt 4 port on its flat edge. (On the sides sits an audio jack, USB-A, microSD slot, and an additional Thunderbolt 4, which is a decent choice - there is no longer a trap that covers the USB-A port with a 13-inch model.) And all edges are included, making a notebook it looks smaller than it actually is (0.67 inches in diameter). Careful art is evident here - I am not exaggerating when I say that this Specter feels like a work of art.
And, as the moniker says "x360", the Specter is 2-in-1. At 2.95 pounds, it is heavy to use as a tablet for a long time, but it is smooth and easy to fold and the hinges are very strong. Unlike most variables, there is nothing wrong with using a touch screen. The display is also in line with the style; Specter ships with an MPP2.0 HP pen, magnetically attached to the side of the chassis.
Despite the similarities in its design, this Specter looks very different from its predecessors, and that’s because of the screen. The new model has a 3:2 display, 13 percent higher than the 16:9 panel on last year's device. (The same rate of 90 percent is kept on-screen and body.)
It Free Of Charges If You Use Touchscreen
Microsoft Surface devices have been using the 3:2 factor ratio for years, and I'm glad the Specter line is finally making a change. If you used to use a 16: 9 display (with most modern Windows laptops) and give a 3: 2 shotgun, you'll see what I mean. It has more vertical space, which means scrolling down and down and zoom in to fit everything you want to see. It makes it easy to perform many tasks without adding a large size to the chassis.
This 3: 2 panel comes in a few different modes. My test unit has a UHD option that HP says should reach up to 400 nits of light. I have tested it many times, but it has only reached 285 on my test - which is much darker than I would like to see from this device at this price point. I contacted HP to see what was going on and will review this update if it turns out to be a bug. (Of course, 285 nits is still more than enough for office work.)
In addition to the UHD display, you can choose a 3840 x 2160 WLED panel (HP did not provide a light rating for this; LaptopMag rated it with 339 numbers) or a 1,000-nit option with HP's Sure View Reflect technology, making it difficult to read the screen from the sides. This in particular will be of benefit to business users.

According to some specs, the basic model pairs a 400-nit screen with the Core i5-1135G7, 8GB of memory, and 256GB of storage (and 16GB of Intel Optane). After that, there are a few updates you may want. My test unit, priced at $ 1,589.99, retains the screen of the basic model but has a high-end processor (quad-core Core i7-1165G7) and doubles RAM and storage. I think this model is a great option for most people - it gets you a higher processor and storage price without the stratospheric price tag. If you want to get a fancier, you can get a WLED screen with 1TB storage (and 32GB of Intel Optane) for $ 1,699, or a Sure View with 2TB storage for $ 1,959.99.

Of course, laptops are not only designed to look good, but they do not interfere with the performance of this build quality. The Specter is certified by Intel's Evo platform, which means it offers many of Intel's preferred advantages including Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6, full battery life, fast boot time, fast charging, and reliable performance. In my tests, it went beyond those levels.
The program managed my heavy load of Chrome tabs, downloads, and instant streaming without any problems. Battery life was very good; I measured the use of 10 hours continuously with a screen around 200 nits of light. That means if your daily activities are the same as mine, Specter should do it on your working day without any problems. (You will probably get a little more if you choose the WLED panel.) The processor incorporates integrated graphics for Intel's Iris Xe. While you may not want to spend it on critical games, they can easily make money.
First of all, I have no complaints at all. The lighted keyboard is fast with a solid click - easily one of my favorites. Speakers sound good, with loud buses and beats. There’s a fingerprint sensor on the left side of the arrow keys and the Windows Hello camera, and none of them gave me a problem.
I Have No Complaints about HP Spectre x360
Aside from the darkness, there are only two things about this laptop that I don’t like. Both are small; the fact that none of them in this review is a testament to the quality of this device.
The first is the touchpad. It's smooth and open (16.6 percent larger than last year's Spectre x360 13) and handles scratching and body scrubs as well. But it has more power than some of the best touchpads on the market. The required click machine is strong enough that I end up doing it with my thumb most of the time. For the likes of Dell XPS 13 and MacBook, fingerprints have a little work to do. When I first clicked the integrated buttons, I also had to overcome some initial resistance to hit the actuation point (to put it bluntly, every click sounds like a double click). This problem was solved during my second test day, but it is still a hiccup that I usually only see with less expensive items.
Second, bloatware. There are several junk programs reloaded on Specter and several pinned to the task bar. Dropbox, ExpressVPN, McAfee, and Netflix are all here, and I have received all sorts of notifications from them. This is strange at this price point, and seeing McAfee’s cheap warnings from Specter is like seeing the worst bumper stickers on Ferrari. This software doesn't take long to uninstall, but I'm disappointed to see it anyway.
But those are the only two complaints I have, and none of them should stop you from buying this laptop. It is good to look at a dream that you can use. I found myself using it for free time instead of my device (which almost never happens with a review unit - I really like my products).

When examining a flexible laptop in the Spectre pricing area, the big question is how does it compare to Windows's flexible gold standard, the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. XPS has a few advantages: it is small and light, its touchpad is not strong, and it has a modest look that other users may choose.
But for me, the football game is close but clear. Specter x360's state-of-the-art technology, high-quality design, and a 3: 2 screen set you up. It also outperforms XPS in a few key areas: the keyboard is more comfortable, the battery life is better, and Dell’s closest price configuration for this unit has its last half. Spectre-less XPS-free accessories - such as an integrated stylus, USB-A port, blue color, and WLED option - enhance the cake.
If you want a premium Windows flexible with good art, that makes Specter a no-brainer. This is the best HP; luxury laptop in the most beautiful place of all places. I can’t imagine it won’t be the next laptop I buy.
